  • All simple x-ray including all parts of the body.
  • Gastrointestinal tract examination including barium swallow, meal, enema and barium follow through.
  • Urinary tract examination including use of contrast materials.
  • Mammography & Sonomammography Unit.
• Ultrasound Unit: For 
  • Transabdominal ultrasound for abdomen & pelvic organs.
  • Endovaginal and endorectal examination.
  • U.S. guided biopsy. 
  • Nephrostomy and drainage of the kidney.
  • Color Doppler examination for vascular systems (Arteries & veins).
  • 3D examinations for foetous.                
  • U.S. for superficial parts including thyroid, breast and testicles.
• C.T. Unit: For
  • Scanning to all parts of the body & C.T. guided biopsy.

The department works 24 h/a day, 7 days/a week.
The department is directed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd El-Tawab, Prof. Of Radiology, Ain Shams University.
